Collie works with clients to review and report on residential projects assessed under guidelines and planning schemes. The main services provided as part of this review and reporting include the following:
preparation of site analysis and associated documentation (including the site and context plan, the neighbourhood and site description plan and photographic montages of the site and its surrounds);
assessment of residential development proposals (as prepared by others) against the relevant planning scheme clause and where applicable any neighbourhood character study or local policies;
liaison with client and other consultants (where necessary) to provide feedback on areas of non compliance;
liaison with the responsible authority (usually the local council);
preparation of design response plans and/or reports to accompany planning permit applications.
