Collie works with clients to prepare, lodge and monitor planning permit development applications for a variety of land uses. The main services provided include the following:
establish and review the relevant planning controls and policies applying to the proposed
development and/or use sought;
liaison with the client and other consultants to develop and assess proposals against the identified planning provisions;
preparation of site analyses including neighbourhood and site description plans and associated documentation;
completion of pre-application consultation with relevant stakeholders such as councils, authorities and neighbouring residents;
preparation of planning permit application documentation including forms and reports outlining a response to the relevant planning provisions for the development and/or use sought;
lodgement and monitoring of applications; response to requests for further information;
liaison with relevant authorities regarding public notification of a planning permit application;
review and response to submissions received, where relevant;
representation and presentation before consultative or council meetings.
