Collie works with clients to prepare and monitor amendments to planning schemes for a variety of land uses. The main services provided include the following:
the development and assessment of the options for a planning scheme amendment;
liaison with other consultants to prepare the background information required to support an amendment, where necessary;
the drafting of the required amendment documentation;
liaison with the State government and local governments regarding the strategic context of an amendment, the amendment documentation and the timely consideration of an amendment;
review of submissions to an amendment;
negotiation with submitters to an amendment, where required.
