Collie had a major involvement over more than fifteen years in the planning and urban design of the suburb of Roxburgh Park in the north of Melbourne. Tasks included preparation of a comprehensive local structure plan, concept planning sections and of stages; preparation of an open space strategy and allocation of spaces for different open space functions; subdivision and lot layouts for various sections; urban design guidelines; building plan review and endorsements; concept planning of medium density housing sites; concept planning of activity centres, rezoning and permits and the preparation of a community development plan.
